    Description

    Imagine if each of us got an Annual Report from our town or city enumerating income and expenses and cash on hand for the preceding year!  This Annual Report was issued for the year ending February 15, 1897 by the Town Selectmen of Dorchester, New Hampshire.  I am sure that it was presented at the town meeting.  The report has 18 pages followed by a 7 page report of the school board and a pull out chart of births and deaths.  It is 8 & 1/2" by 5 & 3/4".   There are some little tears at the corners of the cover but it is otherwise in great condition.  I am also listing the report for 1896.
