Description
This lovely old blue and white plate features the Flume at Franconia Notch, NH. The plate measures 10 1/4 inches in diameter. It was produced by Bedford Potteries for the New Hampshire Forestry and Recreation Department. The plate was sold at the Flume Store. The "49" incised on the back of the plate indicates that it was produced in 1949.
The plate is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. There is some light crazing in the glaze and there is one irregularity in the glaze along the edge.
