SUPERB 2 ANTIQUE-VINTAGE CAMEO LOT, PSYCHE, BLUEBIRD OF HAPPINESS

Wonderful pair of antique and vintage cameos. The one on the left is
antique,
a rare square cameo, quite beautifully detailed. An Art Nouveau
period
rendering
of Psyche, with her signature butterfly perched on her
shoulder.
Lovely hair, accented by a bit of the darker layers of the shell, as well as an intricate
period dress with the square shoulder and inset. Measures 2" including bail. The wrap around gold wash prong chain
mount accents the unique shape of the cameo. T
opped with an arty bail.
The right cameo is vintage, a woman
with the blue bird of happiness
on her shoulder. Lovely upswept hair complements the
deeply draped dress.
It is bezel set in a 15 gold electroplated over 900 silver mount with
scalloped border. 2 1/4" long including bail.
